SEEING SPOTS FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN!
Have you ever noticed that we are surrounded by CAT PRINT everywhere we go!? If you pay close attention, you will find CAT PRINT on scarves, shoes, handbags, hats….and everything in between! Yet, many people don’t realize that these patterns are inspired by species currently under threat across the globe- leopards, cheetahs, jaguars, etc.!
Here is your chance to get involved and win a 10-DAY volunteer trip* on our LION CONSERVATION PROGRAM IN BOTSWANA!
CLAWS Conservancy, our non-profit organization, is holding an inaugural fundraising campaign to raise awareness and support for our conservation work on Lions, Leopards and Wolves, and we need your help! All you have to do is look for spots!
You’ve gathered pledges for charity runs, doused yourself in ice water for ALS, now ask friends and family to support your vision for Wildlife Conservation. Start gathering pledges for each time you see CAT PRINT for the week of May 1st through May 7th.
Ways to play:
1. Gather pledges from friends. At the end of the week, tabulate the total donation for every time you see CAT PRINT items using our handy excel spreadsheet (upon request).
Ex. My friends pledged a total of $10 for each time I saw CAT PRINT, and at the end of the week I counted 35 examples, so I donated $10 x 35 = $350
2. Make a suggested donation of $15 for each day you see CAT PRINT (regardless of how many times each day)
Ex. I saw CAT PRINT on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, so I donated 3 days x $15= $45
3. If you don’t want to count spots, but you want to enter to win the trip- make a donation to CLAWS at the site below
Ex. I did not look for CAT PRINT but I want a chance to Volunteer with CLAWS, so I donated $1,000
Take a photo of cat print that you spot out and about. Post it to facebook or instagram with the hashtag #seeingspotscampaign #showyourCLAWS. The best photos will win a small gift from the CLAWS Conservancy!
The person who donates the most toward the campaign will win a 10-Day volunteer trip to CLAWS’ LION CONSERVATION PROGRAM in Northern Botswana (*airfare not included). Come Track LIONS, ENGAGE with COMMUNITIES and ASSIST field staff in implementing innovative programs on the FRONT LINES OF CONSERVATION! (Housing, meals, and ground transportation with a local conservation expert are all included)
Make your donation to CLAWS Conservancy by May 7th at 7pm EST to be considered for the prize!
